Another celebrity has entered the marijuana discussion: Whoopi Goldberg has announced she’ll  be producing a line of medical marijuana products aimed to target menstrual pains. Goldberg, famous her co-hosting on The View, wanted products which could relieve pain without changing one’s mental state.

“For me, I feel like if you don’t want to get high high, this is a product specifically just to get rid of discomfort,” Goldberg said in an interview with Vanity Fair, “Smoking a joint is fine, but most people can’t smoke a joint and go to work.”

Goldberg is teaming up with Maya Elizabeth, the founder of cannabis products maker Om Edibles, to create the new products, which will include marijuana-infused chocolates, creams and bath salts. Their  company will be called Maya & Whoopi.

Goldberg has been a long standing supporter of medical marijuana.

In 2014, she expressed love for her vape pen in a personal column on The Cannibist: “These glaucoma-induced headaches come on like freight trains — like, BOOM, my head starts hurting, my eyes start bugging, my whole body starts to tense up,” she wrote. “But then I find her [the vape pen], and it relaxes everything and calms everything. It helps my head stop hurting, and with glaucoma your eyes ache, and she takes the ache out. It’s wonderful.”
